I arrived today in Lunéville, a town just east of Nancy (Lotharingen). The countryside is beautiful, many forests, small rivers, hills (some very steep), very small sleepy villages.
Lunéville has a chateau because at the end of the 18th century it was the capital of Lotharingen (instead of Nancy) and the chateau has a beautiful big garden. Exactly 758 km to go of which 400 through the Ardennen.
The wheather, today was perfect, starting with a very cold fog. After an hour the sun came through and stayed. Now, at 21:00 it starts to drizzle, but at last, all my things are dry.
Actually I don't have to complain about the wheather at all. Sometimes I have a rainy day, but on the bike that is not too bad, as long as you are not getting cold. When I arrived at the camping site it was always dry, so that I could dry my very wet tent. I have sun, but not too much and not too hot. That is OK. Cycling with too much sun is not very fine. So until now I aj satisfied, hope we keep it like this.
